Kipton Cronkite is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist who promotes up-and-coming artists, musicians, and filmmakers to key influencers in art, entertainment, society, and business. He is the founder of KiptonART and holds leadership positions for a number of prime charities and cultural organizations. Cronkite is a native of Oklahoma and attended college there and in London before making Manhattan his permanent home in 2001.
Cronkite is the former Director & Senior Vice President of Investor Relations for Bank of America's Alternative Investment Advisors. He previously held positions as Bank of America's Head of Global Client Services for Alternative Investment Advisors and a financial advisor at Citigroup Smith Barney where he earned securities licenses 7, 63, 65 and 24. In May 2009, he launched the KiptonART Foundation. In July 2010, Cronkite decided to pursue his passion for real estate by agreeing to be mentored by A. Laurance Kaiser IV, founder of Key Ventures and a real estate veteran with over 40 years of experience, in order to help locate additional real estate pop-up spaces for KiptonART.
