New York Fashion week kicked off on September 8th in the beautiful Longchamp Manhattan SoHo store with partners KiptonART Foundation and Elle magazine. The evening introduced over 300 attendees to the talents of Sony Grammy nominated jazz pianist Eldar. Starting from humble beginnings in the former Soviet Union country of Kyrgyzstan, Eldar has risen to international acclaim in music world while only being twenty-two years old. “KiptonART Foundation was so delighted to have the opportunity to work with Longchamp and Elle to support Eldar’s latest album, ‘Virtue’ says Founder, Kipton Cronkite who recently sat down with Eldar for a private interview. The outpouring of support gives the Foundation additional resources to continue facilitating the endowment of the visual arts and music to support emerging talent.”

This was KiptonART’s fifth Music Series event, and it’s largest yet. Notable guests included: Minnie Mortimer and husband, screenwriter Stephen Gaghan, MTV's "The City," stars Olivia Palermo and Whitney Port, Jason Rogers and Tim Morehouse, Peter Davis, FOX’s Kimberly Guilfoyle, consulting maven Chessy Wilson, model Maggie Rizer, Billy Gilbane III, producer Clay Floren and designer Bennett Leifer, Tripp and Paige Hardy, Longchamp’s Olivier Cassegrain and CEO Marti Carroll, Alex and Lauren Silverman, Emma Snowdon-Jones, author Anisha Lakhani, NYC 400’s Jamie Rose, NYC Prep’s Kelli Tomashoff, Annabel Vartanian, publicist Susan Shin, Kyle Anderson, Paper's Peter Davis, Elle's Eric Johnson, Anne Slowey, Eric Kaplan, Caitlin Weiskopf, Ellyn Chestnut, designer Alvin Valley and fashion icon and founder of People's Revolution Kelly Cutrone. Guests enjoyed one of the last warm evenings of summer and sipped on Patron drinks in the elegantly designed Longchamp store located in the heart of SoHo.
