About the KiptonART Rising Program:
Launched on December 6, 2008 during Art Basel Miami at the Setai South Beach, KiptonART Rising is an annual program where 6 up-and-coming artists are selected by our Curatorial Team. Over the 12 months following the announcement of the winning artists, KiptonART devotes time, energy and resources to enhance visibility and facilitate introductions into the art world. Since the November 2009 announcement, the 6 KiptonART Rising 2010 Winners, were given multiple opportunities of exposure including the debut event at SAKS Fifth Avenue, New York on November 2, 2009, an exclusive opportunity at Longchamp in Soho, New York on November 6, 2009 and a solo exhibition in May 2010 at James Salomon Gallery in Chelsea, New York. MEDIA ALERT: COHEN DESIGN CENTER TO HOST KIPTONART FOR DEBUT OF 20 KIPTONART RISING 2011 FINALISTSOn October 5, 2010, KiptonART is launching its 2011 Rising Art Program at the Cohen Design Center’s Decorative & Design Building in New York City. Twenty Rising Finalists will be on display for the month, kicking off Market Week in the ground level Andrew Martin showroom. After which, the finalists will be exhibited around the country at the other three Cohen Design Centers in Miami (November 2010), Los Angeles (March 2011) and Houston (April 2011). Each 2010 Winner has sold work since receiving their KiptonART Rising 2010 Award along with the following specific achievements:
- Heightened opportunities to reach collectors resulting in sales for all 6 artists

- Avery McCarthy had 3 month Solo Exhibition at McGuire Furniture, New York
- Emily Korman sold first piece through KiptonART and placed in summer 2010 exhibition in East Hampton, New York
