RSVP requests are not currently being accepted.
Please check back later or contact us for more info.

This is a private tour as the gallery is not typically open on Sunday.  RSVP in advance is required.

On Sunday, February 7 at 3pm, New York Marlborough Chelsea Gallery Director Melyora Kramer and curator Casey Fremont will spend time focusing on the two-floor exhibit which centers on trompe l’oeil works of paintings, photographs and sculptures (you find yourself asking if a picture is a painting and vice versa).

On display is an impressive photo-realism triptych of tied crumbled paper by the Latin master Claudio Bravo. Plastic soda jugs filled with what looks like orange Slice hangs from the ceiling by conceptual artist Tony Feher. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s infamous Most Wanted mug shots are posters by Deborah Kass incriminating major players of the art world such as Donna DeSalvo (chief curator of the Whitney Museum). Casey Fremont and Karline Moeller curated the space beautifully, balancing each floor with enjoyable works that played with sight.

The space is very large so invite your friends to join us!  Address is: 545 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001 and the talk begins at 3:00pm.
