Nature is my source of inspiration, even if I am not interested in a faithful reproduction. Mine is rather a poetical-evocative vision which aims to make perceptible the spiritual dimension of Nature itself, beyond mere appearance. Nature is for me a dynamic reality, run by a vital energy that remains perceivable even when these forces take a precise form.
According to this particular way of perceiving what is around me, I made some precise formal choices. I refuse every form of detailed description as describing means in some way to define and therefore make a reductive choice that make the true essence really accessible, as it can only be perceived or felt as it resides beyond what is definable. Mine are open artworks, born by my emotions that live of the sensations they rise in their observer.
The colour needs to evade precise limits by means of glazes or gestures intended to disengage the creative energies entangled inside the elements of the landscape. The sign when present is a sort of countermelody intended to suggest fragments of awareness about an ancient knowledge that dwells in nature and invites the man of our time to establish with it an harmonious relationship.
