Serge Strosberg was born in Belgium, and lives and works between New York and Paris. Strosberg's diverse artistic background as a D.J., photographer, visual artist and illustrator culminate and collide in his latest work "Les Demoiselles de New York" which he began one year ago, shortly after arriving in New York. Strosberg possesses an MFA from Academie Julian in Paris, has been shown in Museums including the Grand-Palais, the French Senate, Musee de Pontoise (Paris), The Jewish Museum of Belgium (Brussels), The Jewish Historical Museum (Amsterdam), The Felix Nussbaum Haus (built by architect Daniel Libeskind, Osnabrueck, Germany), The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens (West Palm Beach), The Lighthouse Center for the Arts (Jupiter, Florida). He has regularly exhibited with artists such as Lucian Freud and his work is in 120 private collections in the USA, U.K., Brazil, France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Italy and Israel. Strosberg's paintings have been acquired by 5 Museums and have been auctioned by Artcurial auction house (third largest after Sothebys and Christies).
