Born in New Rochelle, NY...raised in New York City and Long Island. I graduated from New York University with a MA in Studio Arts/photography.
My work is about transformations of everyday objects and energy. One of my on going projects, Hidden Voyages, are photographs of abandoned boat hulls found in New Orleans, Montauk, and Greece ( as well as many other locations) where boats are dry docked. I work with 2 1/4 film and do not photoshop the colors of the boat hulls. I shoot in bright sun in the shade of the boat to bring out the colors. The outcome are abstract photographs or color, form and story.
I currently live in both Santa Fe, NM and New York City. Continuing my obsession with the abstractions, I am working on two new projects:
Abstracts of New Mexico and The Body Abstractions
