Information about This Space No. 018
Mixed Media, Drawing, Other

I better add here a text about pictures as they have really unusual nature.
I call these pictures - Informations - because their main function is to deliver certain information about some characteristics of our visual perception of the world. There are actually many more levels and dimensions to see than we are used to perceive with our usual three-dimensional concept about space. Because we are used to see only the things that make sense for us. These pictures might be like a doorway to realizing the way we create our realities ourselves – that it actually happens inside us – there are no pictures out there – all the images are in our minds, like a dream. I remember once a good theatre director trying to explain to his audience at an after-performance meeting: “You think that it is a performance when we walk on the stage in a certain way, make certain noises, wear certain costumes... But actually – this is not a performance. The performance is what happens in your head.” The same principle actually governs everything – there are no pictures out there – all the images are in your head. Keep looking at one picture for at least 30 seconds and see what starts to happen – the pictures will start changing in front of your eyes, depending on which pattern or perspective you follow or what you already see and recognize. The human mind immediately starts to look for something familiar – landscapes, buildings, faces, animals, plants, trees, etc. Whatever information is contained in your life, you could find it there. But that is not the point – more important is what you feel when you start to see something you have never seen before. Hopefully you will experience the depth and connection of all things and the joy of discovering something new about space you never suspected could be perceived.  Look at the pictures from different distances and under different angles, turn them upside down or under a 90-degree angle or look at them from whichever side you please. Look at them in different light – the nature of these pictures is ever-changing, you can always see something different, depending even on your mood and thoughts. It may happen that sometimes when you are in a bad mood or  when your head is too full of thoughts you see nothing but a meaningless mess. But it may happen, when your mind is calm and open, that you can travel in these pictures like in an endless wonderful fairy-tale. At one moment you may even start to see everything, all the levels, perspectives, images and patterns ALL AT ONCE. From this moment onwards you start to perceive even the most busy picture like a holographic multidimensional space, which feels absolutely clear, transparent and... empty. And then the information contained in these pictures is delivered.
