Miguel Guzman is a multimedia artist and his last works combine performance, visual arts, writing and music. As he explores the imaginary in the intimate from the constant moving self experience, Guzman breaks the boundaries between disciplines, from his art-chitect perspective within the process of human transformation, between action and perception. He seeks a balance between life and art if such is possible, sewing the real with the imaginary, desire and pleasure, both in collaborative and individual projects.
Miguel Guzman, born Madrid Spain, lives and works in London. In 2000, after receiving his BA+MA in architecture from Polytechnic University of Madrid, he started his artistic activity in Rotterdam working with acclaimed artist Joep Van Lieshout creating his master piece "AVL Ville". Guzman is a founding member of Table Architecture and Design and El Intruso Sound Collective.
Recent exhibitions of his work have taken place at Galeria Charpa in Valencia; The Place Theatre, Damien Hirst's show space, and Utrophia Gallery in London; Galeria Lapieza, Teatro Pradillo and Sala Triangulo in Madrid.
He continues his art studies on performance making and visual arts in London and is currently working towards his solo exhibition in Galeria Charpa, Valencia.
