Just a 'little about me':
My first drawings were sketched when I was 4 years old, at that time I remember perfectly being at my grandmothers house in Italy, drawing little farm animals that always captured my attention and at times curiousity pushed me to play with them as well. Television in Italy is all about music and performing arts, though still now any channel you will put on you'll see dancers and singers.
I was born and live in New York, but my trips to Italy are quite frequent, that allows me also to live a different culture, where I do find very much different from the States.
About my art: I call it "Drealism" a reality seen through a dream, after all we all must consider that we do live 2 lives which are completely different from one another. Though in my visual interpretations on canvas do represent the reality that surrounds us and a dive in a dream. Many factors come into play, like dreams, individual perceptions and modern urban life. The viewer should look at the work and find their own perception of what they see. Like a rorschag test, everyone's unique vision sees something different based on their life experiences and the observation of art. The idea is to capture a really deep moment in time and portray it in a way that can be looked at it over and over again to let the viewer find new interpretations of the moment.
