Fascinated with the process of visual perception and the energy inherent in light, I create saturated, dynamic images using iPhone software, cameras and computers. Key to the process is my interaction with my equipment, which I see as a collaborator. There is always an element of surprise as to what the result will be. I also work as a Creative Director and my fine art is influenced by my commercial techniques.
My work has been shown in many galleries, primarily in NYC, in public spaces such as the Hilton Times Square, Orchard St. in the Lower East Side, and in screen adjacent to subway entrances. I have also created several commissions for private residences.
I graduated from the Hartford Art School with a BFA, magna cum lauda. For graduate school, I attended NYU resulting in an MA in multi-disciplinary art and art history.
