As a NYC based artist, Lindsey is inspired by the endless energy that lies within the pulse of the people, culture, architecture, music and style of the city.
Her large-scale paintings vary from meditative color fields to layers upon layers of texture, and rhythm. As Yves Klien patented his deep blue, she attains her own style. Rothko gives her a place to meditate, Pollock teaches her freedom, and Gajin Fujita shows her culture mixed with modern flavor. Her mission is to offer her viewers a place to reflect, create, and become inspired.
Graduating with a B.A. in Studio Art from Colby-Sawyer College in 2004, Lindsey continues her education through international travel, studying fashion in Italy and various painting techniques in Hawaii.
