I can remember buying my first camera as a kid at a neighbor’s garage sale. It was a little Kodak Instamatic 104 that I had picked up out of a box of mismatched items and paid $0.15 for. My mom took me almost weekly to the store so I could spend my allowance on the special film, developing and the occasional flashcube. The seed was planted.
Through college I was an architectural major, always with a good eye for pleasing aesthitics and a natural approach. Life began to take me though in a different direction and I soon found myself in the fine wine industry, which I tell people all the time is art in a bottle.
But several years ago the passion for photography reemerged and I soon found my way back to Colorado from over a decade in Atlanta. Born and raised out west i've always had a love of the outdoors and admire the beauty in everything I see around me. I've learned to balance my passions in life and believe my photography is not just about heading out to get "the shot," it's about the life I lead, and an expression of how I see the world.
