"I paint because I love to make things. Creation is one of life's greatest rewards. Making art, writing music or theater, developing courses of study, planting a seed or starting a family, all provide the creator with something unique, spiritually uplifting and hopefully timeless."
"My paintings are a part of a continuum with countless possibilities. A story is told with simple ingredients - polymer medium, pigment, movement, process, time. I hope to create objects that people admire, maybe even cherish and love."
