My art is always evolving as feelings are. I translate feelings in to canvas. Once I asked a friend of mine, "How do you stop loving someone" - she wisely answered "love never ends, just transforms itself in to something different". I was in a very dark phase of my paintings and couldn't stand it anymore and couldn't get out as well. From there I understood that my art, with my feelings will change naturally, gradually and eventually I would get out of that phase. All my work is related to remarkable feelings and people who crossed my life. Although there is the new series which is called reinvention and is just my interpretation of a work of another artist.
The circles and the "scratches" (hell series) is the deepest expression of my feelings. The process of making them I can describe as like “Osmosis". By avoiding any type of brushes or medium (besides the help of a small sponge sometimes between my fingers to help spread the color) between my hands, the colors and the canvas, it purely translates the raw feeling into the work in process. The writing on canvas technique is a short way to translate momentarily feelings and thoughts. A way to immortalize or "exorcize" brief messages.
I think my work, in a bigger view, my message to the world through my paintings is purely hope. Personal salvation mainly. You are your way out to your problems. You can see that point of view on most of my circles series. There is always a way out, no matter how dark is the path to get there; you find a light at the end.
I hope people can sink that to themselves. I hope by seeing its darkness or lightness or simply feeling something when looking at my art, they will find some answers. In the end, feeling more and absorbing more of things is what is missing to humanity.
