Born in Italy in 1968, I graduated from a school of electronics in 1989. I moved to Germany in 1991 where I began to study art. As a self-taught painter, I feel that I have an unbiased approach to art and try to show this by varying my style. Every one of my paintings is like a diary for me: my memories, feelings and ideas at that time are indelibly imprinted onto the canvas. I like to challenge myself when I begin a new series of paintings: I find one leading idea or project and try to create several variations on that theme, each painting connected to the others, but with its own character and reason for being. From 2003 to 2006, I lived in Japan with my wife, the real source of my inspiration, and every day in that new world I tried to express my feelings through my art. After a short soujourn in Italy, I moved back to Japan in October 2007 and I worked on several new projects. From September 2009 we moved to Berlin, Germany to study at Humboldt University and painting in my free time.
