2009 Public art in Public Schools (nominee)

NYC Department of Cultural Affairs
Honorarium to propose a permanent work of art for P.S. 264 Brooklyn NY. Architect and school board selected 5 finalists for review of school slated for completion 2010.

2008 SITES for Students (nominee)

NYC Department of Education
Invitation to propose a site specific installation for PS 128. A percent of building budget is set aside for a site specific installation. Project includes designing and translating to fabricators a site specific schematic for schools, lobby, cafeteria and hallway. Architect and school board selected 4 finalists for review of school slated for completion 2010.

2008 Co-Founder and first Alumni Artist in Residence
The Town School, New York, New York

Co-Founded and structured annual Visiting Artist program for the school. Worked with office of development and learning specialists to create a comprehensive and interactive residency for alumni involved in the arts.. Residence was spent installing a semi permanent site specific work for the schools 1500 square foot cafeteria. Visit also included workshops and classes structured to interact with the community and installation.

2006-2007 Workspace Residency

The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, New York, New York
Invitation to prestigious workspace program. This year the residency received over 1000 applicants for 28 studio spaces.

2007 Panelist

Kenyon College , Gambier, Ohio
Served on a panel of artists and art world professionals to discuss and answer questions on the business of being a working professional artist.

2004 Visiting Artist and Educator

The Browning School, New York, New York
Visiting artist for the Browning School Art Department. Visit was spent installing a site specific work for the The Henry Luce III Art gallery. Visit also included class critiques and a lecture on my work and the history of site specific work.

2005 Invitation

The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, New York, New York
Invitation to create and install a site specific work of art in at 32 Avenue of the Americas in Lower Manhattan. The piece was funded by a grant from the 911 Fund.

2004 Panelist

Browning School, New York, New York
Presentation on entry into the world as a professional artist.
