Cindy Burrows was born on Eleuthera in the Bahamas. She attended . The College of the Bahamas in Nassau, where she majored in Fine Art and Design. She obtained her Teacher's Training and Certification through the University of the West Indies.
Cindy is influenced by the surreal masters as well as her cultural background. She has worked in varied media, both 2D and 3D, and in jewelry and is a published awarded and successful author. One of her books is used as part of the junior high curriculum nationally and was included in the Minister of Education's Book Club.�
She was presented an award at The Ministry of Youth and Culture's art exhibition and competition-�second prize at Government House 2001
Cindy's work is in private collections in Nassau, Eleuthera, as well as throughout the United States. New York, California, New England, and the Mid-West. Canada, Germany, England Ireland, Japan, The Caribbean and South Africa.
She works at her studio between Nassau and Eleuthera Bahamas.
