Born in Zimbabwe and completed A level exams at Mount Pleasant School. I then qualifed as an Electricial Engineer at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
In 1970 I switched to photography and studied in London and the USA in both stills and motion picture production.
Since then I have worked as a freelance photographer and video producer.
My work has carried me to very different parts of the globe including an exotic expedition to the Marshall Islands on a documentary video program around the disappearance of Amelia Erhardt.
I am now looking forward to a more retired time to persue my stills photography.
