Julie Combal was born in 1977 in New York, NY and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, N.Y. She studied at Skidmore College and received her Masters from the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Her paintings, drawings and prints have been exhibited throughout Europe, Japan and the U.S. She is a KiptonArt Rising 2010 winner and has completed scholarship residencies at the Manhattan Graphics Center and Vermont Studio Center.
Her work is in the collection of The Metropolitan College of New York’s Disaster Management program and is included in national and international private collections.
