Robert Motherwell is a genius and this piece homage to him. The simplicity and elegance of black on white is something I've always found compelling and slightly more difficult to achieve. By eliminating the canvas to 2 colors and bringing it back to it's bare minimum state I was able to create something I find very powerful and thought provoking. It's a definite work that, in it's simplicity has a profound affect on the viewer.
